Solitude

Solitude, a word that may leave some boggled and some flummoxed, whatever it may be, I am enjoying every aspect of it thoroughly, call it a matter of chance or a matter of atonement. There can be nothing like sitting in a room with silence all around except for moody blues or classic rock finding its way to my mind and soul like a soothing wind or a gush of wave leaving my mind free to ponder with imaginations with no limits to them making me forget all the miseries and enter a world of hallucinations.

I feel this is just the right ambiance for writing a blog no matter how bad I am at it. The knottiest thing indeed is seizing all the vague thoughts flashing through your mind now and then like they have no ends to them which often put you in a trance, a state of bliss when you are out of the worldly things and all you can hear is the music and your mind and heart tattling out in synchronicity.

I look out of the window to see the bright sun shining with all its vigour trying its best to overcome the chill weather of a winter morning, a leaf finding its way off the mild wind which leaves me wondering as to when i will be able to fly away with my whims and fancies, birds chirping like the students who are busy discussing papers after an exam finding all sorts of flaws even in a flawless paper just to quench their discontentment, a white rose looking at me as though it was shouting aloud that how gifted I am with a felicitous life on this earth, a distant alarm ringing indicating the offset of the routine chores that lie ahead and there comes a voice of a friend knocking hard at the door "Divya utho..hum mess jaa rahe hain"(Divya get up..we are off to mess) knocking me off the world of imaginations.

I wish i could hold this moment forever but alas i put a full stop to this and rush to get ready just to leave at 8.55 am for a class scheduled at 9 and then begins the rat race of searching keys and books and I arrive at the cycle stand just to know that I have forgotten the tute file and rush back. Ah the same old monotonous life. I hope things standby for a moment and leave me in solitude with the great memories which leave me amazed and dumbstruck.

You get a mail from an old friend or a phone call from a classmate whom you have not talked to for years or you get to see your article published in a magazine or find a surprise gift waiting for you or a status message in Gtalk aimed to take a dig at you. Man, this world is all about small wonders which keeps you going, looking ahead with a smile on your face like never before!!

Jokes apart... to tell u the truth divya, i agree wid u totally that many a times spending ur time in solitude has no substitute, esp wen one wants to think, wen one is sad or angry, u appreciate nature only wen u r alone and silence is absolutely a necessicity to absorb nature's beauty and life's humour.

Feels nice to revisit this post after a long time.

I dont know whether this is the same feeling you told me when you booked for your Gmat.

When you learn to live in the moment, its much more easy to realize the beauty of life.

Blog on!
